Retail Banking implies routine transactions like deposits and withdrawls ,money transfer, foreign currency exchange and travelers cheques encashment.
Personal Banking deals with loans,credit and mortgages,insurance policies ,investment schemes,pension funds ,and advice to customers on various financial matters.
Corporate Banking this division caters to the banking needs of the corporate houses.Interaction are here with large
companies and government agencies.The banks ensure that the banking activities of corporate houses are carries out smoothly
corporate finance includes credit risk assessment and advidising clients on corporate mergers and acquisitions
,raising capital , and devising strategies regarding cometitiors and outside factors.
Merchant Banking it is an activity where merchant bankers renders varied fund based financial services.Investment
management is the primary concern of this divison. it could be on the behalf of corporate clients or institutional
investors.it involves activities like managing capital issues,portfolio management,underwruiting of securities,
international financing,public issue management and buying and selling of shares.
